Alexander Nubia International Inc. (TSX-V: AAN) is a Canadian mineral exploration Company focused on rapidly advancing exploration projects in the Eastern Desert in Egypt.
The Company holds two exploration concessions which were decreed into law in 2008: Abu Marawat and Fatiri and covers a combined total area of 2,772 km2 and are in close proximity to excellent infrastructure (near to railway, seaport, high tension electricity grid and the major cities of Qena and Safaga), Alexander Nubia has one of the most promising land positions in the Nubian shield.
Located within the Abu Marawat Concession are Alexander Nubia’s two key assets - the Abu Marawat and the Hamama Projects.
Abu Marawat Deposit: In March 2012, a maiden resource was announced of 162,000 oz gold, 49 Mn lbs copper, 73 Mn lbs zinc and 2.7 Mn oz silver (397,000 oz gold equivalent). Having covered only 50% of the strike length and with the recent discovery of veins systems laterally to the deposit, there is significant potential to increase and upgrade the deposits resources.
Hamama Property: located 35 km from Abu Marawat, Hamama is a volcanogenic massive sulphide deposit with a strike length traced over 3,000 m. In November 2011, drilling commenced and initial assay results include 16.0 metres grading 4.71% Zn, 0.22% Cu, 0.81 g/t Au, 16.2 g/t Ag and in March an extensive trenching program identified a broad at surface mineralized gold/silver zone 650 m along strike averaging 60 metres width. High grade material included results from trench 12, 118 m at 1.52 g/t gold, including 24 m at 4.59 g/t gold.
With an experienced and dynamic management team with significant regional experience, Alexander Nubia is well positioned to build shareholder value through advancing its properties in the Eastern Desert and developing the re-emerging mining sector in Egypt.
