Mr. Massoud brings in excess of 10 years of executive leadership in the mining sector and emerging markets. He is the Chairman and CEO of Alexander Nubia International, an Egypt-focused mineral exploration and development company. During his tenure at Alexander Nubia, Mr. Massoud oversaw the acquisition of its principal concession in Egypt’s first international bid round, managed a successful exploration program during one of the most tumultuous periods in the nation’s history, negotiated relief measures with the Egyptian government and assembled a internationally-recognized board of directors, including a technical and operational team with a successful track record at identifying and advancing world-class ore bodies from exploration to development. He brings a successful track record at identifying, funding, developing and managing a diverse basket of projects that include Intelliprep Technologies, an industry leader in e-learning platform that was acquired by Click2Learn. Multinet Pvt, developing Pakistan’s first national fiber optic backbone and ISP bundled services, and Alexander Nubia International. Mr. Massoud has a M.A. Econ. (quantitative analysis and finance) from Simon Fraser University.
Giles Baynham, ARSM
Mr. Baynham holds a degree in Mining Engineering and Rock Mechanics from the Royal School of Mines. Mr Baynhamis a former banker with significant debt and capital markets experience. He started his career as a Mining Engineer with Rio Tinto, before working at various financial entities including the Industrial Bank of Japan/Mizuho Corporate Bank, NM Rothschild & Sons, and Endeavour Financial. In 2008 he was a co-founder of CB Gold Inc, which holds exploration and mining operations in Colombia.
Bill Koutsouras, CA, CFA
Mr. Koutsouras is an international mining financier and financial operator for the mining sector. He was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Endeavour Mining from 2002 to 2011, a mining-focused merchant bank, where he directed and managed the Endeavour group of companies. Mr. Koutsouras was primarily responsible for investment activities, financial operations and financial advisory mandates where he was involved in over $25 billion of M&A transactions and in excess of $4 billion of financing for junior / mid tier resource companies. He is the principal of Kouts Capital, a strategic advisory and consultancy company to natural resource companies. Mr. Koutsouras sits on several corporate boards of natural resource companies. He is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Financial Analyst and is a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants and the CFA Institute.
Mr. Campbell has over 30+ years of experience in the investment banking and petroleum industry, and he is currently President of Texas T Drilling Corp. He was formally a Director of Corporate Finance with Fox Davies Capital Limited in London, a specialist resources investment banking firm. He is currently a director of Raider Petroleum. Mr. Campbell was a founder of Rodeo Resources Inc. and has been a director of various resource companies in the past.
Mr. Campbell was a former technical consultant to Pharaoh Gold Mines, now a wholly owned subsidiary of Centamin Egypt Limited, and formerly, Chief Executive Officer of Frontier Drilling and Oilfield Services Inc., an oilfield services company that operated within Africa. Prior to 1999, Mr. Campbell held senior positions in the investment banking business with T. Hoare & Co., Chase Manhattan, Salomon Brothers and Lehman Brothers Kuhn Loeb, focusing on global resource companies. Mr. Campbell studied at the University of Iowa and Texas Tech University in economics and geology.
